What's the Sodium Lactate? 

Sodium lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid, and has a mild saline taste. It is produced by fermentation of a sugar source, such as corn or beets, and then, by neutralizing the resulting lactic acid to create a compound having the formula NaC3H5O3.

What's the usage of sodium lactate in food industry? and other field ?

Food Industry: as a pH regulator and preservative in the food industry. and as a flavor enhancer, humectant, antioxidant, and emulsifier. It prolongs the shelf life of foods by reducing the effects of bacteria.

Beverage Industry: as an acidity regulator and pH regulator to enhance flavor in sour drinks. Meanwhile as a preservative in wine processing by promoting yeast growth and preventing muddy wine.

Pharmaceutical Industry: as a pH regulator in pharmaceuticals to relieve acidosis.

Personal Care Industry: as humectant and pH regulator in cosmetics. and in shampoos, soaps, moisturizers, and bath gels.  It retains moisture and whiten skins.
